Meet Dr. Patricia Hernandez
Optometrist

​​​Dr. Hernandez is a dedicated optometrist originally from Colombia. She earned her Doctor of
Optometry degree in 1990 from La Salle University, where she also served as a professor from
1995 until relocating to Canada with her family in 2006.

After moving to Canada, Dr. Hernandez obtained her license to practice in Ontario in 2008 with
the IOBP (International Optometric Bridging Program), and went on to complete a Master of
Science in Vision Science at the University of Waterloo in 2010.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Hernandez is committed to delivering high-quality
primary eye care to patients of all ages. She values building lasting relationships with families
and takes pride in ensuring each patient receives thorough, personalized care.
 

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys staying active through running and swimming, often spending
her free time outdoors with her family and friends.
